Monterosa Ski's circuit is a suggestive itinerary leaving from Champoluc. It's a stimulating web of ski slopes permitting skiers of all ability levels to wind their way down the mountain towards the village of Frachey while enjoying a variety of panoramas, and slopes.
Champoluc is an ideal base for hiking the Monte Rosa mountain range. On the Italian side the range is composed of three mountains: Breithorn and the twins Polluce (4091mt) and Castore (4226mt). This area is characterized by the soft lines associated with large glacial formations. The Verra glacier - 611 hectares – is the second largest glacier on the Italian side of Monte Rosa. The highest peak in the group, Dufour Point (4638 mt) faces Macugnaga where highest cliff face in the Alps is found, the only Alpine cliff with Himalayan dimensions.
