Fichtelberg - Fakta om skianlegget
The ski area Fichtelberg is an important centre for alpine sports in the new Federal States in Germany. A skyride, leading from the eastern edge of Oberwiesenthal up to the Mount Fichtelberg’s summit, takes the guests into the ski area.
The relatively high (for a low mountains range high) altitude contributes to the snow reliability in the region.
There is also a spacious net of cross-country ski runs are just waiting for you to explore the beautiful landscape. The runs are all well groomed and connect the net to the runs around the Ochsenkopf. Furthermore there is a toboggan run and several groomed winter trails available.
