Det er bare to heiser. En av de gode tingene med dette fjellet er at det er færre heislinjer enn andre fjell. Det er bare to doble svarte diamanter på hele fjellet. Bare to gladede løyper på hele fjellet, og en av dem er bare rundt 20 meter lang. Det har mye nybegynnerterreng, noe som har gjort Grouse Mountain berømt og populært. Det er mange mellomliggende løyper, inkludert blå løyper og svarte løyper. Men for de som er eksperter er det ikke verdt det.

Jeg skulle ønske de ville begrense billett-/passsalget, siden det er veldig travelt i helgene. Hverdager er ganske bra.

i went dec 16 2019 terrable for ski or bord 1 baby run half open chair running 1/8th speed.and that was there good run .a one turn hill the peak run again 1/2 open chair1/8th speed six snow makers blowing ice in your eyes.loud like jet engines not good ears ringing .i did eight runs to loosen boots break them in .no vision ice dust and fog even free not worth it.snow makers should be running on closed runs.away from ski people im not pay to go deaf and blind. i enjoy hearing my edges carving.not motors.also the fake snow may have antifreeze or methyl hydrate to keep it from freezing in the water line i do know .yellowish dirty colour i dont know. and sticky not fun .

At 2 They Said they where open till 10 and at 2:30 they said they where closing at 3

It's ubication is unbeatable if you don't have car but this is a handicap if you have the season pass want to go for a short ride to the mountain, specially during the weekends and the winter break.during those days it is better to do something different but no to go there. You will not find a parking spot You will be in the line waiting for the tram for at least 2 HS You will go tight in the tram with other 99 people more (all of them with it's ski/snow gear and backpacks) Once you are at the top you will find that the snow in the runs is broken for the extremely hi transit the are subjected. I recommend this resort only If you can go during the weekdays in the mornings

I love this ski resort as it is super close to where we live in Vancouver. You don’t have to drive in mountain to get there since you take the gondola, for me this is a plus since we don’t have a truck or SUV. We easily can drive our sport real wheel car to the resort. Only negative part is that it gets busy in holidays, but every nice place in Vancouver gets so busy. You need to do time management to get there on time when parkings are available. I decided to write a review after reading many negative reviews with stupid expectation. You are in Vancouver, you can’t expect parking to be available for you any time you decide to go Skiing. You pay $40 for a year of parking, you expect them to reserve your spot for full year?!!!

Grouse offers great expert runs that are hard to beat on a powder day. There is Lots of terrain to be explored off of the high speed Olympic chair including stellar tree runs (Expo Glades, peak glades) and long steep blacks that thrill on a snowy day. S far as beginners the cut is an unbeatable run to learn on because of its long open slope. Overall grouse isn’t as good as cypress, but on a snow day, it top Seymour for sure.

Our children's lessons were cancelled due to the weather. We were provided the opportunity to make-up the classes; however, we paid for 3.5 hours and all they can offer is 3 hours. Losing 30 minutes, at our expense because the organization cannot plan is breaking their contract. There is and was no explanation other than Grouse being unable to provide a group class, only a discovery drop-in class for the make-up class(es). Of course they can, they simply extend the discovery class our child was moved to by 30 minutes. Grouse received payment, had an insurmountable number of children whom need to make-up a class; and therefore, have a surplus of our money. So a warning to all parents, in future, if a class is cancelled and rescheduled, the number of hours that you paid for will be reduced because "all they can do is offer a discovery class for cancelled lessons." We will never return to this mountain.

As far as the 3 local ski hills go near Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is the weakest of the bunch. Although it seems like it's the closest based on a drive from downtown, you need to add another 20-45 mins for the gondola ride and wait. On a busy day you may be waiting for 2 or more gondolas to get up and down, so your trip from downtown is typically one hour, similar to Seymour and Cypress. There has been minimal infrastructure upgrades since the 80s, with essentially 2 slow lifts to access all the terrain. As far as terrain, most of it's not open, unless you get a rare, and increasingly rarer snow day, because the snow making equipment covers maybe 20% of the runs. They've put in a terrain park, but it's no better than the ones at Seymour or Cypress. Also I find the staff to be less the friendly, more focused on process rather than customer experience. I guess they need to herd through a ton of overseas tour groups and sell them overpriced tchotchkes... that's really the business model of the mountain now, not skiing or snowboarding.

For a convenient ski Grouse really can not be beat. Public transit is available to the mountain. Value found in the resort's Y2Play pass, great views and family activities.
